which ended in Belagua.
During the course of 2026, Castrillo made a qualitative leap by expanding his technical profile beyond the ascends. In June he was crowned champion of Spain in the form of individual counter-watch. Months later, he signed three passages among the top ten in the days of the Tour de France and played a determining gregary role in La Vuelta,
where he worked directly for the final triumph of his chief of ranks, Enric Mas, in the general classification.
Trust and future projection
Following the signing of the new agreement, the 25-year-old cyclist valued the support of the directive and the serenity given to it by this extensive commitment. “Since I arrived I have felt very comfortable and confident by the entire team in order to continue to grow and improve,” said Castrillo in official statements distributed by the squadron.
“Knowing that we are going to continue together over the next few years gives me a great deal of tranquility and, above all, a great desire to continue working and taking steps forward. I am very grateful for the trust they have placed in me. I hope these next few years we can enjoy a lot together and get great things,” concluded the corridor.

The four-season renewal reflects the strategy of the structure managed by Eusebio Unzué to retain the young talent with projection for the three-week races. With this signature, the telephone equipment is guaranteed the continuity of a multi-purpose cyclist that combines capacity in the chrono, robustness in the mountain and team work for the great quotes of the international calendar.
The movement ensures the sports stability of the aragonese in an increasingly demanding competitive environment, allowing it to plan its progress towards the main objectives of the WorldTour without the pressures of the registration market in the short term.
