Blonde: Cuba will not reform until it has international support
Rubio warned that the Havana government will not make any changes without losing external support. The statement was made during a talk with Bukele on port cooperation and security.

The US Secretary of State. The United States, Marco Rubio, said Tuesday that the Cuban regime will not drive the reforms needed by the people as long as they continue to receive the support of the international community.
The statement was made during an official conversation with the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, in which they addressed bilateral cooperation and shared priorities at the international level.
Bilateral cooperation and international position
Rubio urged the Salvadoran Government to join efforts with Washington and other allied countries to advance common goals at the United Nations, stressing that while the Cuban regime receives external support it will not move forward with the changes that its population needs.
Security of strategic infrastructure
At the same meeting, both leaders discussed the security of strategic infrastructure, including ports, and the need to protect them from foreign influences that could pose a threat.
