Trump denies help from China and Russia to Iran

Donald Trump rejected in his Social Truth account that China and Russia are supporting Iran in the conflict between Washington and Tel Aviv, indicating that, if it existed, it would be at a very low or non-existent level.

Trump statements

“If they are, it is at a very low level, but I don’t think they are doing it at all,” Trump wrote, adding that “they have too much to lose and we would know very quickly.”

The message comes after the president himself warned Chinese President Xi Jinping, during his visit to Washington in September, that any aid to Iran would have consequences. By April, Trump had already warned China that he would have “great problems” if he supported Iran.

White House pressure on Iran

The White House has hardened its position, demanding a definitive agreement with Tehran. Trump launched an ultimatum stating that the Islamic regime will cease to exist if it does not fully yield, noting that the Iranian economy is destroyed, its army defeated and that it is assessed to resume large-scale military attacks.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that the pressure strategy caused 70% inflation and the collapse of the local currency, in addition to the loss of control of the Ormuz Strait by the US blockade. According to Rubio, total denuclearization is the only way out of a pact.

US position. USA in China

In September, the US ambassador. The US in China, David Perdue, reiterated Washington’s position in an interview with CNBC: “We made it very clear to China weeks ago that any help they gave to Iran… was totally unacceptable.”

Operation Epic Fury and regional escalation

The conflict in the Gulf broke out on 28 February 2026 with Operation Epic Fury, called “Lion Rugido” by Israel. It was a massive air and cyber offensive launched as a preventive attack to dismantle the Iranian nuclear program, destroy its missile arsenal and stop its support for regional terrorism.

The first wave of attacks, the largest incursion of Israeli military aircraft, dismantled anti-aircraft defences, launch bases and strategic communications from Tehran. A direct bombing of the command centres in the capital eliminated the supreme leader Ali Khamenei and the military dome of the Revolutionary Guard.

In retaliation, Iranian forces launched missiles and drones against Israel, the Ormuz Strait and US military bases in Catar, Barein, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, destabilizing international markets and causing a profound energy crisis.
